Note: Essential Oil studies show that “forceful topical use of essential oils is needed to produce concentrations high enough in the bloodstream to inactivate the virus as it moves from a destroyed cell in search of a new host. Continued essential oil use is needed throughout the duration of the disease to keep the condition contained and prevent secondary bacterial infection. Without essential oils, bacterial infection in the sinus cavities or the bronchi is common.”
Combine 1 drop each Geranium, Clove, Lemon Eucalyptus, Lemon, and Siberian Fir in 2 tsp. for dogs and 4 tsp for cats and apply topically twice daily. Diffuse this blend by adding two drops of each oil to 8 ounces of water and diffuse for 20-30 minutes 2-3 times daily.
