It is antibacterial and an antiseptic and has been shown to be effective in treating urinary tract infections. Bergamot is excellent for skin care, and like many citrus oils is calming and therefore helpful with anxiety and depression and it is uplifting and energizing. If your pet has lost his or her appetite diffuse 2 drops each Console, Bergamot, and Cardamom in 1 cup of water before meal time.
