Arborvitae means “tree of life” in Latin, and this tree can live for hundreds of years. The Arborvitae, or Western Red Cedar, is native to North America and chemically contains a unique concentration of tropolones, a group of chemical compounds which are highly antiseptic. Although this oil is powerful, it is extremely gentle. Arborvitae is known for its strong insect repellent qualities. This wood’s aroma provides a peaceful and relaxed sensation.To promote feelings of security diffuse 1 drop Arborvitae, 3 drops Balance and 1 drop Sandalwood per 1 cup water.
